That explanation is satisfying enough, I guess. By the way, do you have any plan to translate the novel into Spanish? It would make a perfect gift for some friends of mine.
And, almost forgot, congratulations on your great job.

Best part of that is we get to see sexy butchies get wired up if you ask me :)

uh hu, the ‘I’ there probably gave me away ;)

Jim kind of avoided getting much into it, explaining kryptonite does not really tend to make superman more interesting. It might make kryptonite more interesting, but it’s not the main charicter so…

I took it that a lot of people lost interest in maintaining things in the face of existential angst. That infrastructure is hit and miss in the post rapture world he created, which left him free to mess with things kind of randomly.

I was thinking in things like the internet going out of order and people forced to communicate via wired sexy butchies.
By the way, you are Salgood Sam Himself, aren’t you?

Not really cus they disappear. More like the implications for those who don’t – really at the start of the book there is not much chaos, more like the numb quiet that hung over things post 911 before the mass culture eye turned to the east, which is what i tried to capture on the page. The chaos happens after angels show up :)

While I was reading the novel, I was always wondering if all Born Again Christians disappearing would result in such a chaos.
